Nia's Basket for Two

Ages 6-8 Jungle Kindness & sharing

Nia packs a picnic and shares it with a hungry river tortoise named Nell — a tender jungle story about kindness, sharing, and making a new friend.

A little taste…

Nia walked through the jungle with a basket. The basket had a blue stripe and a tight lid. Nell's shiny shell sparkled by the river.

Nia saw Nell sitting by an empty stone bowl. Nell looked down. A dragonfly flew over the water behind her.
