Our AI models are specifically tuned and filtered to generate content appropriate for children. We strictly prohibit and filter for:

• Violence or scary themes.
• Inappropriate or adult language.
• Political or controversial topics.
• Any content that could be harmful to a child's well-being.

2. Target Age Group

Our stories are optimized for children aged 1 to 8. The vocabulary, themes, and illustration styles are designed to be engaging and safe for this developmental range.

3. Human Review Approach

While our stories are generated by AI, we employ a multi-layered safety approach:

• Input Filtering: We filter all user inputs to prevent the generation of inappropriate content.
• Output Guardrails: Our AI is instructed to follow strict "wholesome-only" guidelines.
• Human Oversight: We periodically review generated stories to ensure our filters are working correctly and to improve our safety models.

4. Online Sharing Privacy

When you share your story using our /read/:slug links, please be aware that anyone with the link can view the story. These links are not indexed by search engines, but they are not password-protected by default to make sharing with grandparents and family as easy as possible. We recommend only sharing these links with trusted individuals.

5. Reporting Concerns

If you ever encounter a story element that you feel is inappropriate or doesn't meet our safety standards, please let us know immediately at hello@storyfawn.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate and rectify the issue promptly.
