StoryFawn Story-Time Questions

One real question after every story.

After you close a StoryFawn book, ask one gentle question — not a quiz, not a lesson, just a door. Pick the prompt that fits your child's age (or borrow from the band above or below). Twelve prompts for kinder, braver, more curious bedtime conversations.

Ages 1–3

  1. Smile. What did the hero do that made you smile?
  2. Kindness. Who in the story was kind? Can you point to them?
  3. Courage. Was there a part that felt a little big? It all worked out.
  4. Sharing. Would you like to share something today, like the hero did?

Ages 4–5

  1. Courage. What's one brave thing the hero tried?
  2. Feelings. How do you think the hero felt when that happened?
  3. Curiosity. What's something you're curious about, like the hero was?
  4. Sharing. If you could share one thing with the hero, what would it be?

Ages 6–8

  1. Courage. When did the hero have to be brave — and what helped them?
  2. Kindness. What kind thing did someone do in the story? Would you do that?
  3. Curiosity. Which part made you wonder, "what happens next?"
  4. Feelings. How did the story make you feel — and when did you feel it most?

Make it yours: swap in your child's name and the hero's world from their latest StoryFawn book — "When did Milo have to be brave in the jungle?" The questions stay gentle; the answers are all theirs.
